A local couple will be getting married today in downtown Ottawa…nine times. What? Bret Staneslow and Miranda Gillaspie will visit nine different places in Ottawa this morning, wedding party, minster and photographer in tow and say their vows in each place. Why? Well Bret is known to be, shall we say, “on the cutting edge.” When the two got engaged, they made a decision.
The weddings will start at Prairie Paws at 11 this morning, then move to the downtown area, with stops at Legacy Square and other businesses, a wedding banquet at Pizza Time, and then they will top it off at Not Lost Brewery for a wedding toast. Staneslow says if you want to join in you are welcome to share what he believes is an event they will never forget.
