A planned power outage will affect parts of Franklin, Anderson, and Linn counties today. Lyon Coffey Electric members in Waverly, Agricola, Williamsburg and some areas south of Pomona and Quenemo will be affected. Those affected by the outage should have received a phone call last week and again yesterday. The company says if you did not receive a phone call, contact the cooperative at 1-800-748-7395. The outage is scheduled from noon today until 6 this evening.
