There is move by smaller counties in Kansas to take the bull by the horns and not let the big counties push them around. That seems to be the motive behind a push to have next year’s legislature change home rule provisions. Franklin County Commissioner Roy Dunn says he was at a recent convention, and he brought back some revealing information.
In other news, the county commission appointed Ottawa school Superintendent Dr. Ryan Cobbs for a two-year term to the fourth Judicial District Corrections Board.
