Will Secretary of State Mike Pompeo step down and run for the Senate seat being vacated by Kansas Senator Pat Roberts? That’s the question many are asking. President Trump was asked about the idea and he says if there were any question about the Democrats losing the congressional seat, he would run and winning would not be a problem.
Pompeo brushed off possible run of the Senate, however, Republicans have been speculating and urging him to step down for months and run for the Senate.
