If you think your property taxes have gone up, don’t blame the city, that’s the message from Ottawa Mayor Blake Jorgensen. At the regular city commission study session, Jorgensen took note of taxes.
Jorgensen noted that any tax hike came about from an increase in valuation by the tax appraiser.
