The community Thanksgiving dinner hosted by the Goat Milk Soap Store and Pizza Time Thursday was a huge success. Thanks to donations by individuals and businesses alike, the dinner was well received by Ottawans. Julie Riggins of the Goat Milk Soap Store says she was thrilled with the turnout.
She added that police, fire, and EMS units were in to eat and the left-over food was taken to a local nursing home, to emergency room employees and to jail and sheriff employees. Next year, she says the event will be bigger and better than ever and she will start looking for a bigger venue soon.
