One of the challenges of being a Historical Society director is that sometimes what people bring in may not be too safe. Recently the Franklin County Historical Society opened a box with some artillery in it. They called the police to take a look and they called the Olathe Bomb Squad. Historical Society director Diana Starcinic Dean says they had three live rounds from World War I. One was a large piece that had a timer band on it designed to explode in midair.
