Hundreds of people braved the cold winds and flocked to downtown Ottawa Saturday evening for the annual Mayors Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The evening featured several outstanding performances. A dance from the Nutcracker, Christmas Carols and a reading of the Night Before Christmas. Mayor Blake Jorgensen greeted those in attendance with a Christmas wish.
Avery, Morgan, and Lee Staley flipped the switch to turn on the Christmas lights, many people won chamber bucks and two lucky kids, Caleb Dryden and Morgan Staley, won a bicycle, courtesy of Arvest Bank.
