A burglary at Daylight Donuts early this morning left a trail of broken glass and a smashed cash register, as well as other damage to the building. The business will be open today, but due to the damage caused by the thieves, they are selling all donuts for 50 cents. Manager Heather Surber says, she arrived just a few minutes after the thieves hit.
That discount is a pretty good one. All donuts are 50 cents this morning. They are not able to break big bills, so bring some change. She added that the damage seemed limited to the door and the registers and they will try to get the damage repaired as quickly as possible.
