The Franklin County Commission took care of a couple routine budget amendments during its regular meeting. The amendments were necessary to cover slightly more than expected expenditures in the ambulance and solid waste departments. County Administrator Derek Brown says the end of the year can be stressful.
Brown says the budget amendments are normal and doesn’t reflect any budget problems, he says the upcoming audit should prove the county is on solid financial ground.
