The U.S. industry is looking forward to lower tariffs and improved market access to Japan after that nation’s legislative body approved a mini-trade deal between the two countries. USDA’s Rod Bain has more.
Also included in the deal, starting January 1st, Japan’s import quota will up, with an expected big increase in demand for both U.S. beef and pork products.
