When first responders are called to a car wreck they have the best rescue tools they can buy. The tools that Franklin County Emergency Medical Services has unfortunately are not the best, but director Nick Robbins is working to correct that. He told the Franklin County Commission that the situation is urgent.
Robbins says he’s found a supplier with the needed rescue tools that would sell them for about $29,000. The County Commission is expected to approve the purchase at their regular meeting on Wednesday.
