Enrollment in the Anderson County USD 365 school district is down slightly this year. Superintendent Don Blome reports that the district is sitting at 1,011 students. This compares to 1,025 students last school year. He says that number tends to change over the course of the year. He says the state education funding received this year shouldn’t be affected.

Overall, Blome reports that things have gone well so far this year and the students are excited to finally be in the new automotive building. Blome says there has been a nice number of gifts to the school from community members who have given sets of tools to the program.
