Anderson County Economic Development Director Julie Turnipseed has a deal for those looking for a year-end tax credit that will not only get you the credit but also help build business in Kansas. She says that a donation to the Kansas Center for Entrepreneurship is tax deductible. The money donated is put in a special fund set up in the state to assist people starting commercial businesses. That brings us to a local organization designed to help. Anderson County E-Community, a committee of Anderson County Economic Development through Network Kansas, has in place a loan program funded through this program to enhance small businesses and loan out money for business start-up and expansions. Anderson County Economic Development encourages individuals, banks and corporations to participate in this tax credit program to ensure loan funds and programs are available in the future for potential businesses in the Garnett and Anderson County community. If you would like more information on how to maximize this tax credit program to fit your needs, give Julie a call and she can give you all the information you need.
