Wreaths Across Franklin County makes sure that a wreath is laid on the grave of every veteran at Christmas time and they are in need of more volunteers this year to help. Organizer Kathy Lee says it’s an opportunity to show and teach patriotism.
She added that they are in need of more wreaths for next year and will be holding fundraising events soon. If you would like to help lay the wreaths, they are meeting this morning at 10 at Highland Cemetery.
