Long time tenants of the Don Woodward building are leaving, meaning an uncertain future for the facility. Earlier this year, two major floods caused damage, resulting in the Ottawa Recreational Commission’s decision to withdraw from the lease it has had for years with the city. City Manager Richard Nienstedt says there may yet be a future for the building.
The Don Woodward building is expected to be discussed at tomorrow morning’s regular scheduled city commission meeting.
