If you are planning on shipping packages using Amazon, Fed-Ex, UPS or the Postal Service to people for Christmas, you don’t have much time to waste if you want them there by Christmas. Amazon Prime members have until the 22nd for free shipping, the 23rd for one-day delivery on certain items and the 24th for same-day delivery on qualifying orders.
Fed-Ex packages must be shipped by the 20th for two-day delivery, the 23rd for overnight, and they even offer same day delivery for specific items on Christmas Day.
UPS says 3-day select packages must be in by Thursday, second day air on Friday, and the 23rd for specific next day air packages.
If you like sending by the United States Postal Service, it’s Friday for First Class Service, Saturday for Priority Service and the 23rd for Priority Mail Express.
If you are wanting to get something to Alaska or Hawaii, check with the delivery service for specific deadlines. Either way, time is short.
