The Ottawa City Commission has approved some revamped contractor licensing provisions. Before the vote, Commissioner Eric Crowley pointed out the need for contractors to keep up to date in their field.
In other news, the city commission approved an extension of City Manager Richard Nienstedt’s contract through October 2022 and also approved changing the commission’s morning meeting time from 9:30 to 10:00. The change takes effect in January.
