A new online burn permit system for Franklin County Residents has received the blessing of the county commission although, not without some skepticism. Commissioner Roy Dunn and Emergency Management Director Alan Radcliffe had a brief discussion.
Dunn reluctantly voted for the new system, along with the other commissioners. Complete details of the new system, can be found on the Franklin County Website. The new system takes effect on January 1st.
