The Ottawa City Commission has approved several funding agreements with various agencies. One of those is a revamped Ottawa Main Street Association and City Manager Richard Nienstedt says the downtown is a better place than what it used to be.
The Main Street Association will get $30,000 from the city in 2020, the Franklin County Development council will get over $63,000. Prairie Paws will receive about $52,000 and Elizabeth Layton Center will receive $4,000.
