The wind farms being installed in Kansas get a property tax exemption but not more so than other facilities. During a recent conference on renewable energy, Joshua Svaty of the Kansas Power Alliance noted that limits on tax breaks was fairly recent.
The conference was sponsored by the Franklin County Farm Bureau.
