Funding for the federal government has been approved through September. The fiscal year 2020 Appropriations Package was signed into law by President Trump recently. One aspect of the bill was to grant funding to rural broadband extension, something National Farmer’s Union’s Rob Larew says is vital.
Along with broadband, additional money for disaster aid related to the past two years’ disasters, funding to implement and support farm bill programs and an extension of the bio-diesel tax credit.
