Governor Laura Kelly has said the state may have to help pay spirit workers. Moran says he does not want politics to play any role in when to return the 737 Max to service because of the safety of the passengers is the number one key. Spirit employs over 12,000 workers in Wichita. Moran says he has contacted the defense department in an effort to get more military work for the area.
