Many people are talking about the homeless situation in Ottawa. There are more homeless people in our city than one might think, and you can help. The Franklin County United Way has an emergency shelter available on the coldest nights and they are having a meeting to talk about how people can get involved and help. United Way Director Leigh Hanson says there is one huge way to help.

That meeting will be Monday night at 7 at the Community Revival Church, 2749 Montana Road in Ottawa. You can find out information on the project, pick up volunteer forms and find out many more ways you can help the shelter. Again, the meeting is Monday night at 7 at the Community Revival Church in Ottawa.
