The final USDA prices received report for the year indicates producers saw a 4.6% increase as a whole in the November index. While both the crop and livestock production index rose, it was in the livestock categories that saw the biggest gain, at 7%. USDA reporter Rod Bain has more.
Producers paid about 3% more for inputs and services in November due mostly to higher prices for feeder cattle and pigs as well as herbicides.
