A meeting tonight will provide information on the emergency shelter available in Ottawa for those needing shelter on the coldest nights. United Way Director Leigh Hanson says the need for volunteers is great, but people need to be screened.
If you would like to volunteer, or just learn more about the shelter, the meeting is tonight at 7 at the Community Revival Center Church at 2749 Montana Road in Ottawa. If you are unable to attend, the United Way volunteer number is 211. Give them a call and you will be sent directly to Hanson’s number.
