The completion of Legacy Square in 2019 was a major accomplishment for the entire community. Many people donated money, time, labor and products to make the over $4 million project happen quickly. Ottawa Chamber of Commerce President John Coen says that because of Legacy, new events are coming to the Ottawa area.
He adds that the Legacy project was a total community-based effort and that without everyone’s participation, it would not have happened so quickly. He looks forward to many more events there and additional business coming to the Ottawa area as well.
