The 2020 Kansas Legislative session will start on Monday. There will be many items discussed this season. A few will involve taxes. Income tax, property tax, and food sales tax. Representative Blaine Finch, of Ottawa says he is all for lowering the tax on food.
He added that the issue of reducing the tax on food purchases has gained support among legislators and he expects the issue to come before the house fairly quickly in the session, along with issues like school finance, abortion and more.
