As lawmakers prepare to start this year’s legislative session on Monday, the state library of Kansas has launched a legislative hotline to help educate the public about what’s happening at the state capitol.
People can call the toll free number 1-800-432-3924 from 8 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon, Monday through Friday. Research librarians will answer questions, like details on the status of bills and more about the legislature. You can also leave brief messages for lawmakers.
