The Ottawa Chamber of Commerce will honor the Ottawa Recreation Commission with a chamber coffee as they unveil a recent award. They have been presented the better sports for kids quality program provider designation. It’s a seal of commitment to quality and safety based on nationally accepted standards. ORC Recreation Manager Brandon Stortz says achieving this designation demonstrates all that the ORC has done to provide for the youth of Ottawa.
Only 101 recreation programs worldwide have been awarded this distinction. The coffee will be held at 8 this morning at the Goppert building at 15th and Ash. You are welcome to attend.
