The Kansas Department of Labor has announced that IRS tax form 10-99 G will be mailed to every person that has received unemployment compensation in the last calendar year. The form show the total of compensation paid during the year and show state or federal income taxes withheld. The same information is provided to the IRS.
The forms will be mailed out before January 31st, and mailed to the address on file with the Kansas Department of Labor. If you should have received one but do not, you can get a copy online after February 1st, or give the Department of Labor a call and they can help you get the forms you need.
