President Trump signed the first phase of a major trade deal with China Wednesday at the White House.  He calls the deal a game changer for U.S. Farmers and ranchers.  However, the deal won’t be reflected on the USDA’s crop reports that come out on Friday. World AG Outlook Chairman, Mark Jeconowski, says China has been buying up soybeans.

As part of the deal, China has promised to provide more protection for American companies’ intellectual property, and will stop requiring U. S. firms to share their technology as a cost of doing business in China.
