Looking back on the past year, Ottawa has seen quite a housing boom. With the addition of an apartment complex on the North side and quite a few single-family homes being built, new Mayor Tom Weigand says even more housing is a priority for him.
The 44 units on North Cherry and Enterprise Streets filled fast and have a waiting list of over 200 people, leading to the speculation that another similar project could be on tap this year.
