Last week the Ottawa School Board approved the class list for Ottawa High School and believe it or not, it is almost time to get enrolled for school for next year. Ottawa High Principal, Kelly Whitaker, says those students in high school and those ready for high school will be getting information about enrollment soon.
The high school counselors met with incoming 9th graders and their families last night to learn about concurrent credit and the C-3 initiative with NCCC. She added that students are able to choose from many different career paths at Ottawa High and the opening of the Career and Technical Education Center last year has boosted the offerings quite a bit.
