Two Franklin County Farming Operations have received awards for their efforts to practice conservation in their farming techniques. During the Franklin County Conservation District annual gathering, Mike Skidmore of Goppert State Service Bank made an announcement about Curtis Farms of rural Williamsburg:
The other Conservation Award went to Barton Farms in northwest Franklin County.
