The Ottawa Municipal Airport is an active part of economic development. That’s the word from Ottawa City officials. Public Works Director, Michael Haeffele, says some people misunderstand what role the airport plays.
Haeffele also says business people will sometimes fly in to hunt for property on which to put a business. He says he knows of at least two people who have located businesses here in part because of the airport
