At the Legislative coffee Saturday morning at City Hall, the issue of technical education and cyber security came up. Senator Caryn Tyson told the crowd that the need for more tech classes in Kansas is important to build a work force that will stay in Kansas. She also mentioned that Kansas is weak in our education system as far as I.T. and cyber security is concerned.
The discussion revolved around a question about what this area needs to do to strengthen our work force and keep young people here to help develop industry that may be moving here and need specific types of skills in the work force .
