As the Chiefs get ready to face the 49ers in Super Bowl 54, many people may not realize there’s an area man who played a big part of broadcasting the first Super Bowls, and is the only living announcrer from the first Super Bowl.  He says over his 50 year career, there was one moment that stood out from the rest:

Hedrick taught broadcasting at KU for many years, called games for KU Football and basketball, the Cincinnati Reds Baseball, the KC Chiefs and was an icon at Baker University for decades.

The Chief’s won the game over the Minnesota Vikings 23 – 7.
