Ottawa High School has a lot of career paths available to students and the students in may of those paths routinely earn certifications in certain areas. One area that earned certification recently was Fire Science. The students earned their CPR certificates and also had the opportunity to train with the Ottawa Fire Department. Noah Stevens will attend the Hutchinson Community College Fire Science School. Whitaker says the other students will continue with the program next year also.
