If you want to install a solar panel or some other type of renewable energy at your home, better study up on some safety regulations. The Ottawa City Commission has approved some rules that Utilities Director, Dennis Tharp, says will help people be safe.
Tharp says the new rules will not affect most customers since only a few residents have renewable generation eqipment.
