A recent program on Solar Power in Franklin County may spur interest in this renewable energy. The County recently approved a number of zoning regulations addressing solar energy. Maya Schechter of Orion Renewable Energy Group told an audience of around 50 people at the County Annex, that solar is definitely coming.
Several Commissioners from other Counties also attended the program to learn about the potential of solar power for their area.
