Like it or not, solar power is coming to Franklin County and when money is mentioned, most people will probably like it. A recent program wasfheld at the County Annex on solar power. Maya Schechter or Orion Renewable Energy Group was the featured speaker, and she gave some potential money estimates from solar power:
Schecter says long term jobs would probably not be that large. She says the big obstacle to solar power is the long time it takes to complete required studies before solar installations can actually be built.
