With the mental health crisis in the United States at near epidemic proportions, it’s important to know how to handle a situation involving mental health.  The Elizabeth Layton Center in Ottawa offers a wide variety of services to those suffering from a mental health problem.  They also offer educational classes.  One of those is called Mental Health First Aid.  It is being offered to teachers, law enforcement and anyone who would like to learn more about how to handle a potential mental health crisis.
