Anderson County residents looking to better their career or find a new career will have a special opportunity coming soon.   The Kansas Works Mobile Unit will be in Garnett one week from tomorrow.  The Community has been chosen by Kansas Works to receive a visit from the state-of-the-art Mobile Unit designed to help job seekers and employers maximize their opportunities.  The Mobile Workforce Center will stop in Garnett on the third Wednesday of each month, from 10:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon in front of the Anderson County Annex.  Kansas Works personnel will be on board the Mobile Center and are available to provide the work keys testing, career counseling and resume building assistance.  No appointment is necessary, everyone is welcome and there is no charge for the services or testing provided by the Mobile Workforce Center.  For more information you can contact Anderson County Economic Development Director Julie Turnipseed at City Hall.
