The newly formed Sheriff’s Community Advisory Board met for the first time recently. The Board is made up of a group of people within the County that covers a wide area of Franklin County. Sheriff Jeff Richards wanted help on how his Department builds their comprehensive strategic plan for the year. Richards said, at the meeting on January 15th, that the Board discussed and came up with their top three concerns and priorities they believe the Sheriff’s Department should address:
The Board also encouraged Richard to get the message out to the public regarding what types of programs are offered and how more people can become involved.
