The Ottawa Recreation Commission continues to rack up awards. Yesterday at the Kansas Recreation and Park Association Conference in Topeka, they were awarded the 2020 Outstanding New or Innovative Sports Program Award. This award was a direct result of being designated as a Better Sports for Kids Quality Program by the National Alliance for Youth Sports this past year. Here is the presentation at the conference:
The ORC is one of only three organizations in the state of Kansas to earn the honor from the Youth Sport Alliance and one of only 100 world wide. Congratulations to the Ottawa Recreation Commission.
