The second of four legislative coffees will be held this morning at the Ottawa City Hall. Senator Caryn Tyson, and Representatives Blaine Finch and Mark Samsel will be on hand to discuss actions the Kansas Legislature has taken in the first few weeks of the new session. From expanding Medicaid, lowering property tax, abortion amendments, and even fireworks sales in Kansas, Senator Tyson says it’s been busy so far.
This is your chance to listen to local area legislators discuss whats going on at the capital and ask questions. The coffee will be held this morning at 10 at Ottawa’s City Hall. It’s free and you are welcome to attend.
