Anderson County farmers and livestock producers that need advice on how to increase profitability needs to mark their calendars. The Kansas AG Network Farm Department will bring their farm profit seminar to Garnett in mid March. Seems like a ways away, but plan ahead now. The session will kick off with a complimentary dinner. Kansas Agriculture Network Farm Director Greg Akagi says the dinner is provided by seminar sponsor who will have displays on hand.
Can’t make the Garnett seminar? No problem, there will be another seminar on March 4th in Holton. To make sure nobody goes away hungry, reservations are required. Just call the county extension office to get registered. Three speakers have been lined up for each seminar to discuss commodity outlooks, government assistance programs and financing information.
