The Ottawa City Commission will hold its regular meeting this morning at Ottawa City Hall, and street maintenance in Ottawa is going to get a big boost. One item on the agenda is about the Kansas Department of Transportation Federal Funds Exchange Program. City Manager, Richard Nienstedt:
The program allows local public agencies to exchange Federally allocated dollars in a specific year with K-Dot in exchange for State transportation dollars. The City of Ottawa would receive $237,893 in the exchange.
