Need a way to get you and the family motivated for exercise in a unique way?
“Walk Kansas” is an eight week walking program encouraging family, friends and neighbors to come together as a team to promote health and fitness.
Frontier Extension District Agent, Chelsea Richmond, says they are encouraging teams to sign up for “Walk Kansas”.
The point of “Walk Kansas” is to simulate walking through the State by logging your team’s miles walked over the course of two months. There are three challenges, each progressively longer and follow trails across Kansas. To register, go to the website WalkKansas.org. Walking officially begins on March 15th and will continue through May 9th.
